Our children are exposed to toxic chemicals, in their homes, at schools, in the parks and who knows what elsewhere. Today in our world, children are born contaminated. Toxic chemicals are found in amniotic fluid, the umbilical cord and muconium.

The way I see it, aside from the home environment air, food, water, clothing and such, toys and schools are the biggest issues the affecting the health and environment of our children and their world.

As far as plastic toys made from PVC softened with phthalates which have been banned in Europe and are now linked to premature births, I can not help wonder why all of them I have ever seen in US toy stores are "Made in China" . What is made in US?
