Backyard Organic Gardening

Any yard can become a magical garden.

In my backyard is my garden. There are two huge trees, a Eucalyptus and an Argentine Mesquite (Tree of Life) Prosopis alba. This dear friend provides shade throughout the summer. Currently spring, she drops golden fertilizer.

Plants are required for us to exist. They are our oxygen, our food, our clothes, our homes, and they surround us with beauty. Many plants even purify our air. Mesquite filters the air making it the most breathable place I know of in for hundreds of miles.

A healthy backyard includes a complete ecosystem. Pesticides can destroy an ecosystem, by killing off many species in a particular area. The balance is thus destroyed. Predators can eat poisoned bugs and die.

Our Health is directly effected by our environment and vise versa. EnviroHealth terms our relationship with our world and each other.

I smell the toxins of the city in my backyard.

One dryer sheet can ruin my whole day.

We all live downstream.

This is everybody's backyard.
