January 25, 2006 The True Zen Master
All my visions, dreams, ideas, are
as they seem. I read the chapter recognizing every instance, every detail. He was in the publics eye, the leader of the pack. The representation of our work, our worth combined. He finally found the woman of his offspring, he left his family in health. When the shock of his passing wore through me, the tears I burst into were those of pride. I am proud of Kobin Chino, for his accomplishments are great and forever. Kobin once told me in response to my freshly shaven bald head, "you are a true Zen Buddhist punk, soon to be a Master." Upon reading the True Zen Master, I identified with all that I read.
